01. Laying of the foundation stone of the new Demigod Shrine
The age old building housing the temple's Demigod shrine (Devalaya) was renovated upon the patronage of the chief prelate Venerable Raththota Seelawansa thero. It was opened by the Vice chancellor of Sri Jayawardenapura University, Late Most Venerable Professor Bellanwila Wimalarathana thero, the deputy head of the Sri Kalyani Sama Sri Dharma Maha Sangha council of the Kotte chapter at the auspicious time of 09.11 a.m. on the 27th September 2012 before a distinguished gathering.
02. Suva Saviya
"Paramadhamma Foundation" of the temple provides many welfare services towards the community. These services consist mainly in five ways. The most predominant of these is the health oriented "Suva Saviya" programme. "GOOD HEALTH IS THE BEST PROFIT OF ALL" preached Lord Buddha. Accordingly the foundation expects to develop a healthy society through inculcating good habits amongst the people. Disabled or folks with special needs or the economically deprived are given special focus. It is the objective of the foundation to provide them with medical help, equipment and other necessary items.

03. Annual Gammaduwa
The annual event of "Gam Madu" Blessing ceremony organized by Paramadharmawardhanaramaya temple from the year 2015 will be held in the 3rd week of March, every year. Blessing the village and inhibitions is the prime objective. Erection of planting the "Kapa" is done three months in advance. This is the largest annual event organized by Paramadharmawardhanaramaya temple and in addition to this, a procession and a Water cutting procession is also scheduled to be held.
04. Annual Processions
The annual procession organized by Paramadharmawardhanaramaya temple from the year 2015 will be held in the 3rd week of March, every year. Blessing the village and inhibitions is the prime objective. This main procession is to proceed through Raththanapitiya roads followed by the Water cutting procession the next day. Later the Gammadu blessing ceremony will be performed.
The Katina perahera organized by Town folk will be held in month of October in every year. Katina Perahera marks the end of the dwelling indoors by monks during the monsoon season.
05. Sradhdhanjali Concert
"Sradhdhanjali" is a live music performance organize by the students and teachers of "Siri Pangnananda Dhamma School". This event is take place on Poson Full Moon Poya Day in every year.
06. Blood Donation Campaign
The blood donation campaign is annually organize by the "Young Buddhist Society" of the temple. This event is take place on Pioneers' Day [August].
07. Opening Ceremony of Bodhi Tree Premises
In 2016, the Bo tree arena was renovated with 28 Buddha statues, a golden fence, an upper terrace, a glim area and a great wall as a concept of the present chief prelate Venerable Raththota Seelawansa thero. It was opened on 1st of October, 2017 by the Most Venerable Iththapane Dhammalankara Thero and Late Most Venerable Bellanwila Wimalarathana Thero with the participation of Maha Sangha & villagers.
08. Buddha Pooja & Bodhi Pooja Ceremony
This Buddha Pooja & Bodhi Pooja Ceremony is held in every year (7 Days) as an addition to Katina Ceremony. All the requisites, liquids, flowers, lamps, incense, medicinal drinks are bring to the temple from the sponsoring house by a special procession.
09. Prefects' Guild - 2018
The Induction Ceremony for 2018 of Junior and Senior Prefects of Siri Pagnananda Dhamma School was held on 8th of April, 2018 at the temple Dhamma Hall. The ceremony took place in the presence of students and teachers. 21 prefects were newly appointed....
10. Bellanwila "Dheva Dhootha" Procession
There is a very close relationship between Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya and Borelasgamuwa Paramadharmawardhanaramaya Temple which was founded in 1929. Therefore, from early days, when there was some occurrence of importance at Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya Temple, Paramadharmawardhanaramaya Temple gave their fullest support and vice versa. One perfect example is "Dheva Dhootha" procession of Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya.
This "Dheva Dhootha" procession held alongside the Bellanwila Esala Festival, leaving Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya on month of August in every year. After reaching Borelasgamuwa junction the procession turn to Raththanapitiya junction. From there, the procession travel along Sri Pemananda Mawatha, taking a turn to the Temple road and reach Paramadharmawardhanaramaya Temple. For all those who travel with procession and the villagers who represent Bellanwila Temple were served with not only refreshments, but also there are arrangements for the people to take a slight rest. Same for the elephants who travel with the procession.
The child who represent "Dheva Dhootha" and two children who represent guardian gods worship the Sthupa, Bodhi tree and Shrine room. Then they go to Demigod shrine and obtain five precepts, chant Pirith and invite gods to listen to the "Dhorakada Asna". After these events the procession again prepares to leave. They travel through G.H.Perera Mawatha and reach 120 road. They take the usual road to Bellanwila Rajamaha Viharaya from there. This ritual has been carried out for generations except for the last 40 years and it only resumed again since year 2017.
